Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane Technology & Equipment

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a high-precision, pressure-driven membrane separation technology. Its core feature is the retention of nearly all ions and small organic molecules, allowing only water molecules to pass through, with a desalination rate of 95%–99.9%. It is the core technology for pure water/ultrapure water preparation and deep desalination.

The equipment is integrated around spiral-wound organic RO membranes, categorized into brackish water, seawater desalination, and ultrapure water types, and is widely used in water treatment, chemical, electronic, and other fields.

RO equipment is a highly integrated, modular system with spiral-wound RO membranes as the core, equipped with pretreatment, high-pressure pumps, energy recovery devices, cleaning systems, and large-diameter core components. It ranges from laboratory bench-scale units to pilot-scale skid-mounted systems and full industrial production lines. Small water treatment equipment is typically skid-mounted for direct connection and commissioning, with water outputs categorized as permeate (product water) and concentrate (brine).
